Speak Easy

I find myself repeating the core principles about managing the stammer in my mind - the principles of conscious stressless initialiation, pauses and slow rate of speech.

Ive seen on the net that many PWS has said "Stuttering is hell" and when i fail on these principles, i understand how correct they are. But i don't want to make it look pathetic by hating something which happens to me in reality.

I will repeat many things because i feel the core principles about managaing stammer will always remain the same. Conscious stressless initialiation, pauses and slow rate of speech. Now, it depends on ones guts about how far one can implement it before the real fast world rather than in a controlled environment.

Stammering happens when giving undue stress to the mouth. Stammering is when speaking becomes difficult by undue stress. The good way to speak is to speak easy. For a PWS to speak easy, controlled speech needs to be used.

Love it

i really need to come up with a reason to love stammering because i happen to be a Person with  Stammer. A PWS wanting to live a life with acceptance of reality.

Acceptance of my stammer gives me strength to accept life the way it has come to me. As i am always trying to improve my verbal communication skills, it gives me strength to work on my life too, in general.

My life has been series of titillations and often i have failed to live upto my own expectations. But my acceptance of my stammering has given me lessons in accepting the whole of life itself and it means not quarreling with reality.

After any day of setback, i can always start working on my stammer from ground zero and this helps me to look life with a similar mindset. On his message to a PWS, sheehan has told about a 78 year old band master who started to work on stammer after his  retirement and was successful.

I understand that there are more important issues out there in the world than my stammering. Working hard is important in life and like that i need to work hard in managing my stammer. Stammering will be always there in the scenery to improve the beauty of the journey which we all call "Life". I believe stammering is the spice of my life.
